Account Manager

De Kardex Group is one of the world's leading producers of dynamic storage, retrieval and distribution systems. For the North Holland region, we are looking for an Account Manager who sees and seizes opportunities: Are you enthusiastic about building relationships, developing smart solutions and winning customer trust? Then we have a challenging opportunity for you. We are looking for an enterprising Sales Manager who not only recognizes opportunities, but also actively creates them within the dynamic world of intralogistics.

As a Sales Manager, you actively go out into the market. You recognize opportunities, respond to customer needs and translate these into smart solutions from the Kardex portfolio. You work independently, but always in close cooperation with marketing, technology and the back office.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Actively approaching new customers and markets
  • Analyzing logistical issues for customers
  • Presenting suitable solutions (machines + software)
  • Drafting quotes and negotiating independently
  • Closing deals and transferring them to the implementation team
  • Reporting on customer visits via internal tools
  • Supporting pre-sales activities such as demos, events and roadshows

Our solutions are smart and effective – from shuttles and lifts to an advanced miniload box solution – you help customers integrate these seamlessly into their processes.

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a sales role, including experience selling technical products
  • Proficient in communication and software tools (MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce CRM)
  • Familiar with sales methodologies (e.g. Miller Heiman)
  • Strong leadership and an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Stress-resistant and able to work flexible hours, including occasionally on weekends

Education

  • MBO/HBO in relevant fields (logistics, management, commercial economics, mechanical engineering) or equivalent relevant experience
  • Dutch: native or fluent (speaking and writing)
  • English: at least B1/B2

Other qualifications

  • Valid driver's license

Experience in the industry or logistics is helpful, but not a requirement. We are happy to teach you everything about our products and market.
