Position Overview:

The Mortgage Sales Manager is responsible for leading and expanding an in-office team of Loan Officers. This hybrid leadership role combines elements of call-center operations with retail, relationship-based lending. This role oversees Loan Officers handling both company-generated leads and self-sourced clients, ensuring consistent production, exceptional service, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Mortgage Sales Manager is a strategic leader with experience in coaching, performance management, and delivering measurable business results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate Loan Officers to achieve and exceed monthly and annual production goals.
  • Deliver ongoing training, daily huddles, and actionable feedback that elevate skills and accountability.
  • Design and execute sales strategies to increase conversion, loan volume, and client satisfaction.
  • Track KPIs, monitor dashboards, and use data insights to improve lead utilization and pipeline health.
  • Identify, attract, and develop top-performing Loan Officers aligned with CCM's standards of excellence.
  • Partner with Processing, Underwriting, and Marketing to streamline workflows and elevate results.
  • Maintain full adherence to company policies, investor requirements, and federal lending regulations (TILA, RESPA, FHA/VA/USDA, etc.).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active NMLS license required.
  • 3+ years of experience in the mortgage industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales management or leadership.
  • Experience with CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience with loan officer performance management and expanding sales pipelines to achieve measurable growth.
  • Understanding of origination, processing, and lending compliance.
  • Advanced knowledge of mortgage products, origination systems, and compliance standards.
  • Skill in effective communication, team motivation, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Skill in leading and developing high-performing mortgage sales teams to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Skill in coaching team members, improving performance outcomes, and streamlining operational processes.
  • Skill in working effectively in dynamic, data-driven, and collaborative team environments.
