As a Regional Manager, you will lead the commercial success of market clients by driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, and mentoring a high-performing sales team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on coaching, ensuring your team excels in both business and soft skills. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, craft market strategies, and support the Head of Sales in shaping impactful business cases and regional initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage a team of 3–6 Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Senior Account Managers (SAMs), focusing on mentoring and upskilling.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve KPIs and drive growth in OM$ and profitability through proactive portfolio management and strategic planning.
  • Market Strategy: Create and execute regional strategies for top clients, addressing key issues and opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with client senior management to unlock new business opportunities and overcome barriers.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze performance data, bookings, and reporting to identify trends and create actionable business cases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to remove blockers, align on initiatives, and support international business planning.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and alignment with company objectives while driving innovation and customer-centric solutions.

Required Skillset and Experience

Leadership & Commercial Expertise

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years in sales or business development within the travel industry, with a strong track record networking in managing teams and delivering results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and implement market strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Team Development: Skilled in mentoring and coaching, fostering growth in both technical and soft skills.

Sales & Account Management Skills

  • Solid knowledge of sales processes and account management in the wholesaler segment.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities to secure commercial agreements and drive behavioral change.
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior executives and decision-makers.

Technical & Analytical Competence

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau and CRM platforms like Salesforce.
  • Comfortable interpreting complex data and using insights to inform strategy.
  • Basic understanding of technical solutions used in sales (APIs, integrations).

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Fluent in English (essential).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High degree of interpersonal skills with a dynamic, outgoing personality.

Education

  • Degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Law or similar preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
