Your Role

You will analyze the activities of competitors and provide market feedback. You will identify the opportunities for business growth within the current and new distribution channels and within end users and generate ideas together with marketing. Herein, you will focus on developments, strategy, activities, planning, budgeting, and marketing. Together with other Account Managers and Product Specialists, you will create a role distribution and provide training and supply test products to dealers and end users with the aim of optimally supporting your account in its sales and assortment growth. You will invest a lot of time and energy in your customers, ask critical questions, think actively with them and understand what they need and advise them on solutions that we offer. In addition, you will actively engage in the following tasks:

  1. Actively managing customers and executing your market management plan to achieve growth;
  2. Managing a prospect portfolio and visiting existing and new customers;
  3. Mapping market developments and developing a yearly plan for your region based on this;
  4. Weekly reporting of sales forecasts to Sales Manager;
  5. Input in creating and assisting in the implementation of local campaigns;
  6. Proactively collaborating with other sales colleagues such as other Account Managers, Product Specialists and colleagues from our Job Site Solutions, Personal Protective Equipment and Outdoor Power Equipment sales teams;
  7. Representing the company in collaboration with Sales at conferences, fairs, and networking events.

Your Experience And Attributes

You have proven commercial experience and specialized product knowledge in tools. Commercial dealing and entrepreneurship are in your blood; a proactive, independent doer who works performance-oriented, plans accurately in time and can organize your own work well. You have courage, see opportunities and are creative and solution-oriented, work independently and function collegially in a commercial team.

You know your market and are able to tap into your existing and new relationships. You communicate sincerely, openly, and clearly and have a natural enthusiasm with perseverance and self-confidence. You have extensive experience with forecast, contract, and margin management and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software. You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English and you reside in the region and have a valid driver's license.
