Sales & Business Development Representative

Tribute is a leading provider of ERP software specifically designed for the industrial distribution industry, serving hundreds of clients across the United States. We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Sales & Business Development Representative with strong B2B sales experience and a passion for travel to join our growing team. This role focuses on selling our flagship TrulinX Software System to businesses in fluid power, hose, pump, motion control, power transmission, automation, gasketing, and related markets. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing leads, traveling to meet prospective clients, attending trade shows, and building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads, ideally with 5+ years of professional sales experience.
  • Travel up to 75% for in-person client meetings and industry events.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs and sales quotas.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales action plans.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Tribute's products and their value to customers.
  • Track sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM software.
  • Support the client's post-sale process to ensure a smooth handoff to the Implementation Team.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations both virtually and in person.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments and teams.
  • Represent Tribute, Inc. at trade shows, conventions, and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for organizational success.
  • Proven B2B sales experience, including cold calling (phone and in-person).
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales funnel management.
  • Excellent communication skills—active listening, verbal, and written.
  • Strong presentation skills for both remote and live audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
  • Experience in industrial distribution is a plus, but not required.
