The ALLO Direct Sales Internship provides an opportunity to work with and learn from experienced sales and marketing professionals while gaining exposure to various aspects of a successful telecommunications company. This 2026 summer intern will be primarily focused on residential sales and streaming events through ALLO's TV transition into DirecTV Stream. Intern will have firsthand experience in event engagement and participation along with supporting sales efforts for ALLO's DirecTV transition. There will also be opportunities to engage with our First Impression Specialists to help assist customers. Interns may work on events throughout Nebraska. This position will travel to support events on behalf of ALLO. This is a full-time summer internship with the possibility to extend into the fall semester based on performance and business needs. As an ALLO intern, you will gain real-world experience in sales, exposure to how sales teams collaborate to drive company growth, direct involvement in day-to-day operations, as well as mentorship, and development of communication, organization, and sales skills. ALLO interns will get to participate in special programs throughout the summer designed specifically for them.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers and work alongside the ALLO Field Marketing, Inside Sales and First Impression Teams.

Attend ALLO events to help promote ALLO and close sales.

Learn best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to direct sales.

Share ideas and feedback with Marketing and Sales leadership.

Make outbound calls to potential sales opportunities and sell DirecTV and ALLO products.

Assist storefront customers with DirecTV signups.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives.

Support the DirecTV transition through event engagement, customer education, and sales initiatives.

Learn and follow ALLO policies and industry guidelines in all sales and customer interactions.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Identify potential challenges and improvements in operations, project execution, or sales strategies.

Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience

Currently pursuing a degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or another relevant field.

Previous internships or work experience in sales, marketing, or a related role is a plus.

Experience with sales platforms and tools is a plus.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Customer-focused mindset with interest in sales

Demonstrates qualities that will help drive sales.

Organized and detail-oriented

Comfortable making outbound sales calls

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)

Ability to work in fast-paced event environments

Working Conditions

In office position

Monday through Friday and occasional weekends for events.

Requirements

Ability to carry tools and equipment

Ability to operate a computer

Ability to work outdoors

Possess/maintain a Valid Driver's License

25% Travel requirement within Nebraska
