Converter Markets Sales Specialist

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. The impact you'll make in this role includes:

• Meet and/or exceed sales growth targets within assigned geography
• Manage a robust hopper of sales opportunities and activities
• Manages, supports and builds relationships at key converters and OEM customers
• Develop and implement business plans and strategies at key converter customers
• Train and support key divisional partners at OEM accounts

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a current, valid driver's license
• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university and/or Three (3) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• OR Highschool Diploma/GED or ten (10) years of selling experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Previous experience in tape converting industry or within 3M industrial market center
• Experience calling on and managing corner office executive level relationships
• Skills include: Presentation skills, CRM (Salesforce.com), written and verbal communication, business planning, sales

Location: Indiana

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international
