This position reports to: Local Division Customer Support Manager

In this role, you will drive continuous improvement across our sales operations and business systems, bridging the gap between technical environments and business needs. You will champion a culture of operational excellence, leveraging deep SAP expertise (SD & MM modules) alongside tools such as Easyorder, Esker and Salesforce, to identify problems, streamline processes, and deliver impactful, data-driven solutions. You will also be responsible for the end-to-end management of master data lifecycles and will mentor and coach teams to embed a problem-solving mindset across the organisation.

This role is contributing to the IE Electrification Smart Buildings Division.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

• Deploy & Lead Continuous Improvement Strategy: Drive and align CI strategy at a local level in line with global objectives, fostering a fact-based, problem-solving culture across all teams.
• SAP & Systems Ownership: Act as the primary SAP super user (SD & MM), maintaining, optimising, and improving SAP, Easyorder, Esker and Salesforce to enhance functionality, resolve incidents, and support business needs.
• Business Analysis & Process Optimisation: Gather requirements using data analytics to assess processes, identify opportunities, and define best-practice solutions for new or changed IS solutions and services.
• Remove Barriers & Drive Collaboration: Address roadblocks, resolve conflicting priorities, and work cross-functionally to ensure effective adoption of improvement initiatives and IS changes.
• Master Data Management: Oversee end-to-end master data lifecycle — creation, update, archival, and deletion — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor & Track Performance: Define, monitor, and report KPIs for CI initiatives and system performance, providing insights to guide resource allocation and measure success.
• Develop & Deliver Training: Create training materials, toolkits, and upskilling programmes to support employees in adopting SAP best practices and new processes.
• Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure IS services and master data processes align with governance, compliance requirements, and corporate IS enterprise architecture strategy.
• Change Management & Adoption: Lead adoption of new processes and technologies, conducting advanced business analysis modelling for major change programmes.

Qualifications for the Role

• SAP Expertise (Essential): Proven hands-on experience with SAP SD & MM modules. Ability to troubleshoot, optimise, and train others on SAP processes.
• Continuous Improvement Methodology: Experience applying CI frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to drive operational excellence and measurable business outcomes.
• Process Optimisation & Efficiency: Track record of enhancing workflows, streamlining operations, and implementing impactful, sustainable improvements.
• Data Analytics & Reporting: Ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and strategies that drive business decisions and performance.
• Master Data & Governance: Experience managing master data processes with strong attention to accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.
• Project & Risk Management: Ability to lead projects effectively while managing risk, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Agile & Business Analysis: Foster adaptability and strategic thinking; skilled in business analysis methods and tools for complex change programmes.
• Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Confident in leading adoption of new processes and technologies; able to coach, influence, and engage teams at all levels.
• Customer & Service Excellence: Committed to delivering exceptional service outcomes and driving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
