This position reports to: Marketing & Sales Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy within the specified market scope and maintain it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.
The work model for the role is: onsite.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solution in Egypt.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Ability to demonstrate 10+ years of total experience in sales activities, with 5+ years of experience in infrastructure-related sectors, such as Power & utilities, Transportation (rail, airports, ports), Water & wastewater, and Smart cities / urban development.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
You are at ease communicating in English for messaging, content creation, stakeholder communication, with ability to executive-level presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.
Proven experience in segment strategy development, key account management, or business development, large project sales / EPC coordination.
Possess good knowledge and understanding about the industry, stakeholders, end-users/EPCs.
You are familiar with government tenders and procurement processes.
Possess technical knowledge focusing on power distribution & electrification, smart infrastructure solutions, and automation & digitalization, with the ability to translate customer technical needs into solutions.
Possess commercial & strategic skills focusing on segment positioning and go-to-market strategy, market analysis and trend identification, pipeline management and forecasting, and pricing strategies and contract structuring.
Ability to demonstrate advanced skills in strategic thinking and long-term positioning.
Ability to demonstrate stakeholder management skills by building strong relationships with government authorities, consultants, and EPC contractors and internal teams.
Ability to demonstrate leadership & collaboration, drive execution across matrix organizations.
Ability to demonstrate communication & negotiation in complex deal.
Familiarity with Market intelligence tools, CRM tools (Salesforce) and dashboards reporting.
