This position reports to:

BL ED Product Marketing & Sales Development Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will drive the Business Line Sales strategy for the region Americas (Canada, US, LATAM). Supports the defined Local Sales organizations and customers throughout the sales process in their assigned area. Brings new business and improves the existing ones by supporting the Sales organization with relevant knowledge of products and markets. Coordinates activities across multiple Product Lines in the region and support between Marketing, Pricing and Global Sales Support teams.

This is a hybrid position based in Cary, NC. This role is contributing to the Sales Development in Business Line Energy Distribution, Smart Buildings in Americas (NAM, CA and LATAM). You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Ensuring the strategies and business plans are aligned with the overall division's strategy to achieve defined targets.
  • Defining Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for existing products as well as new product launches in collaboration with the Marketing function and ensuring their achievement.
  • Overseeing the implementation of activities for agreed cross-divisional, product group, and regional initiatives.
  • Supporting the organization in the execution of product launches and customer events when required.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Business.
  • 10+ years of experience managing a portfolio / channel / sales or Key Account in a similar function.
  • Experience with the following: Portfolio Management, Market Intelligence, Go-to-market Strategy, Customer Experience Success, Regulation & Legal Compliance, Pricing, Budget & Performance Targets, Account Management, Business Development, Sales Enablement, Solutions / Application Sales Engineering, Channel Sales and Contract & Risk Management.
  • Ability to travel upwards of 60% both domestically and internationally.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
