This position reports to: Sales Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products, systems, and services within a designated market or division, aligned with the division's strategy. Each day, you will work towards meeting both qualitative and quantitative sales targets, ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue generation, profitability, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will demonstrate your skills by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role contributes to Automation in the Measurement and Analytics division within the Sales function in India (Instrumentation). Main stakeholders include customers across various industries.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role:

  • You are highly skilled in frontline sales of Field Instrumentation, sales enablement, general sales practices and account management, with specialized skills in ABB's sales tools.
  • You have 5 years of experience in frontline sales of field instrumentation products.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of salesforce and other sales tools.
  • You are passionate about sales and new business development.
  • Engineering Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics.
  • You are at ease communicating in English & Hindi (Gujarati speaking would be an additional advantage).
