ABB Motion Sales Position

This position reports to Sales Manager.

Your Responsibilities And Tasks

As part of the sales organization in ABB Motion, you will contribute both internally and in direct customer contact throughout the tender and delivery process. Technical descriptions, documentation, offers, and technical support to the sales team and our customers.

The position is organized under Drive Products, business area Motion, with workplace in Bergen, Fornebu or Trondheim. The job involves some planned travel in connection with customer meetings and factory visits.

You will mainly be responsible for:

  • Providing technical advice and solutions on requests from customers and ABB's sales specialists.
  • Performing analyses and diagnostic studies to find optimal solutions to customers' needs.
  • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and solving specific customer challenges.
  • Close dialogue and cooperation with product management at the factory in Finland.
  • Contributing to achieving goals within budget, volume, and profitability for Drive Products and Motion Norway.

Qualifications For The Position

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, automation, cybernetics, or equivalent competence.
  • Experience with motors, frequency converters, and automation systems is an advantage.
  • The position covers several technical disciplines that are closely integrated through our product and system deliveries. Therefore, the ability to acquire new knowledge and a strong drive to deliver high-quality results are essential qualities we are looking for in our new team members.
  • Strong communication skills are crucial, as the role requires close cooperation across the organization – both locally in Norway and globally with factories and international customers.
  • Fluent Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
