Job Profile Summary
TPM role supports the assigned portfolio organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal stage by overseeing the delivery of technical proposals, combine tech expertise with leadership to guide development teams, ensure alignment, and meet business goals efficiently, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects, ensuring projects are completed according to outlined objectives. Oversee quality assurance and ensure objectives are met
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Perform risk management and mitigation planning to minimize project risks
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Ensure technical feasibility and resource availability
Offers technical advice, solutions and provide technical guidance to support the project team on ABB products/systems/applications/portfolios.
Performs analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.
Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers by leveraging general market information and insights provided by the Sales organization.
Analyzes lost proposals, identifies the potential cause, and conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
