Your Role And Responsibilities
ABB Motion is a leading technology provider for industry, infrastructure, and machine manufacturers, offering world-class drive systems. Our innovative solutions, global reach, and local manufacturing enable our customers to increase energy efficiency, production performance, and safety. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will act as an independent expert responsible for collaborating with customers (including OEMs) in the sales of ABB products within the Motion business area (Drive Systems).
The work model for the role is: Li-hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Ensuring business continuity with existing customers and acquiring new ones based on the defined strategy, market analysis, and promotion of ABB Motion solutions within selected market segments.
- Building long-term business relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels (technicians, managers, directors, and executive management).
- Analyzing customer inquiries with the support of drive technology experts.
- Conducting market trend analysis within assigned segments and promoting ABB drive systems.
- Using your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions to define tailored, effective proposals.
- Delivering product presentations and participating in local and global sales initiatives.
Qualifications For The Role
- University degree, preferably in a technical field.
- General understanding of drive technology, industrial automation, electrical engineering, or power electronics.
- Preferred experience in direct cooperation with Industrial Customers and Machine Manufacturers (3+ years).
- Very good command of English (spoken and written).
- Strong ability to build business relationships and awareness of relationship management.
- Category B driving license.
