Your Role: Own the Challenge
1. Achieve Sales Targets and Drive Market Growth
- Deliver and exceed EG Motion's New Sales Orders Received (OR) budget across all segments and divisions as per APP.
- Lead sales expansion across Africa, increasing market share, penetrating new areas, and developing a solid sales pipeline.
- Continuously assess markets to identify new opportunities and match ABB's full Motion portfolio to customer needs.
2. Lead Strategic Projects and Customer Engagement
- Drive key African projects with cross-functional coordination, ensuring ABB Motion is well positioned to win.
- Collaborate with OEMs, EPCs, consultants, and capture teams to secure targeted business volumes.
- Engage customers during budgeting and CAPEX planning to promote ABB as the partner of choice.
3. Strengthen Sales Execution and Operational Excellence
- Conduct regular reviews and HO meetings to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, invoicing, and collection.
- Align pricing strategies and sales approaches with PMMs and Sales Excellence teams to sharpen ABB's competitive edge.
- Define and maintain account plans, player maps, and strategic actions to support long-term growth.
4. Build Relationships and Enhance ABB's Market Position
- Establish strong, long-term relationships with key market players and stakeholders.
- Promote MOSD, and energy efficiency offerings in collaboration with the Service Division.
- Improve customer satisfaction and NPS ratings through consistent engagement and value-based selling.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
- Electrical Engineering graduate with 2–4 years of diverse sales and business development experience across industries, backed by strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Fluent in English, with proven ability to solve complex customer challenges through tailored technical solutions and ROI-driven proposals.
- Strategic planner and innovator, skilled in developing sales plans, forecasting resources, and adapting new models to drive growth and mitigate risks.
- Customer-focused leader with strong market knowledge, effective communication, and a results-oriented mindset that fosters collaboration and long-term success.
