Abbott Diabetes Care Position

The position will be filled in the Region Bamberg, Erlangen, Nürnberg in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We focus on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to make better decisions. We are revolutionizing the way people monitor their blood sugar levels with our new sensor technology.

Your tasks:

  • Successfully discuss the innovative glucose product portfolio Freestyle Libre and the associated digital ecosystem to maximize sales
  • Strategically analyze the assigned accounts in the area and develop the sales strategy
  • Expand and build existing customer relationships through regular customer visits and the use of different communication channels
  • Continuous market and competition observation
  • Reporting on the CRM system and deriving corresponding sales measures
  • Close collaboration with Medical, Market Access, and Marketing
  • Cross-functional collaboration to develop an effective regional Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management

Your qualifications:

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Natural Sciences or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally first experience in the field of a medical/pharmaceutical or FMCG company, alternatively sales-oriented university graduates
  • Analytical thinking and ability to derive sales strategies
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of digital applications and processes
  • Results-oriented, structured and resilient
  • Strong problem-solving skills and winning mentality
  • Team player with a high degree of self-initiative, energy and enthusiasm Ability to act confidently in a fast-changing and highly competitive market Very good German and English skills
