Abbott Rapid diagnostics' Infectious Disease goal is to lead in market development and adoption of point of care diagnostics (POC) in our core markets of Infectious Diseases. The Opportunity:

For our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division ARDx we are looking for an outstanding sales talent to join our great team in Poland as a Senior Sales Specialist. This will be a field-based role, located in Warsaw, requiring daily travelling across Poland.

Senior Sales Specialist manages relationships with customers, commercially steering the business that is not government funded. These break down into main groups: healthcare providers, public hospitals, HC officials, KOLs. Distributor(s).

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the market development activities across the region. Daily contact with hospitals, clinics, KOLs, big pharmacy chains, managing relationships with distributor
  • Manage the distributor and develop the sales channels.
  • Encourage new ideas within a framework of business planning and territory management.
  • Build up the effective cooperation with the KOLs, HC officials.
  • Provide regular timely forecasts of performance, product demand, expenditure etc.
  • Serve as part of the leadership and management Distributor team in helping to determine the strategy, setting targets, budgeting and working collaboratively with other functions within Abbott organization.
  • Maintain and communicate on a regular basis a view of the strategic landscape within your Region

Required Qualifications and Background:

  • At least 5 years' industry experience with ideally min 3 years of sales experience.
  • Experience in medical devices sales or diagnostics sales preferred.
  • University degree in Business, Biological Science or related field.
  • Proficient in dealing with both primary and secondary customers at all levels.
  • Positive attitude, team player with a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Effective communicator, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through influencing others.
  • Excellent organization, facilitator and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, native Polish.
  • Readiness to work in a field (approx. 80% of time).
