National Sales Manager

The Opportunity

As the National Sales Manager, you'll have the chance to lead a high-performing sales team, set strategic direction, and execute business and multifunctional processes across your channel. You'll manage key account relationships, drive joint business planning, and ensure perfect execution of sales fundamentals in a stewardship-compliant manner.

What You'll Do

  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships.

  • Sales Growth: Lead and develop growth strategies for key accounts, identifying new revenue opportunities and increasing market share.

  • Product Listing Optimization: Collaborate with marketing/trade marketing to optimize product visibility and presence at store level.

  • Promotions & Campaigns: Lead development and execution of promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and seasonal offers.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities. Provide performance reports and actionable insights.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, trade marketing, supply chain, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.

  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize trade spend to ensure ROI for promotional plans and activities.

  • Joint Business Planning: Lead annual planning and JBP preparation with retailers.

  • Channel Execution: Ensure superior execution of initiatives across customers in line with company guidelines.

  • Go-To-Market Reinvention: Lead ideation and execution of GTM strategies for your channel/customer portfolio.

  • Distributor Engagement: Actively engage with distributors in West and East Malaysia to ensure inventory and service level requirements are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in Business Management.

  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods sectors.

  • Proven experience in managing a team and leading strategic sales initiatives.
