Vice President Of Wellness At Home Sales

The Vice President of Wellness at Home Sales works with Wellness at Home Leaders and Sales Leaders to grow the business and increase referrals for AdaptHealth Wellness at Home product lines nationally. This senior leadership role develops and executes comprehensive sales strategies across all markets, builds strategic partnerships with key referral sources, and leads high-performing sales teams to achieve ambitious revenue targets. The position requires deep market intelligence, competitive analysis expertise, and the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the national wellness market.

Essential Functions And Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Lead national sales strategy development by analyzing market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape to establish enterprise-wide growth initiatives and market penetration strategies
  • Drive strategic business development through identification of new market opportunities, partnership channels, and revenue streams across all national markets
  • Provide executive leadership to nationwide sales operations, establishing vision, priorities, and strategic direction for the Wellness at Home sales team
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with key strategic accounts, health systems, and referral partners nationwide

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Accountable for national revenue performance and margin optimization across all Wellness at Home product lines, with responsibility for multi-million-dollar revenue targets
  • Establish and execute comprehensive sales plans that maximize market share, drive census growth, and achieve aggressive revenue and profitability goals
  • Monitor and optimize national sales performance through data-driven analysis, forecasting, and strategic resource allocation
  • Partner strategically with Operations Leadership to align sales strategy with operational capacity and ensure seamless execution of growth objectives

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing national sales organization through strategic recruitment, development, and retention of top sales talent
  • Provide executive coaching and mentorship to sales leaders and representatives, establishing accountability frameworks and performance standards
  • Create collaborative partnerships with the Operations Leadership team to support shared vision for growth and ensure sales initiatives are operationally feasible
  • Drive consistency in sales execution across all territories through development and implementation of sales best practices, training programs, and performance management systems

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Maintain comprehensive market intelligence on industry trends, competitive positioning, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in the wellness and home healthcare sectors
  • Influence product development and service offerings through market analysis, customer feedback, and strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Execute integrated B2B and B2C marketing programs that support sales objectives and enhance market presence
  • Drive innovation in sales processes and marketing strategies to maximize efficiency and market penetration

Compliance & Operations

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and function within HIPAA guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with AdaptHealth's Compliance Program and all applicable policies and procedures
  • Perform other strategic duties as assigned by executive leadership

Management/Supervision:

  • Lead national sales organization including Directors of Sales, territory representatives, and support staff
  • Responsible for strategic workforce planning including selection, hiring, onboarding, and comprehensive development of sales professionals
  • Establish performance management framework through clear expectations, regular coaching, performance evaluations, and accountability measures
  • Set and achieve ambitious organizational goals aligned with enterprise strategic objectives and growth targets
  • Drive organizational performance through effective leadership, retention strategies, and succession planning

Competency, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven strategic leadership experience with demonstrated ability to develop and execute enterprise-level sales strategies
  • Executive presence and maturity with experience managing senior-level client relationships and cross-functional leadership teams
  • Outstanding business judgment and decision-making capability in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels

Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university required, master's degree preferred.
  • Ten (10) years' leadership experience in a related position, preferably in healthcare, is required.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience required in sales, marketing, advertising and/or brand management.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Work environment may be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
  • Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to extensive computer use
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed
  • Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • May be exposed to angry or irate customers or patients
