Outside Sales Representative
An Addison Group client is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage customer relationships across a regional territory. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with a background in industrial or manufacturing products who thrives on building partnerships, exceeding revenue goals, and working independently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing accounts
- Partner with clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and product presentations
- Track activity, pipeline, and customer communications in CRM systems
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Travel within the assigned territory to visit customers and attend industry events
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven outside sales experience (industrial or manufacturing preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage accounts independently while working closely with internal support teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory (occasional overnight travel required)
