Member of the Northern Europe team, the STSM Monogastrics is responsible for promoting and selling the Specialty product lines within the assigned geographical area. In full collaboration with the Country Manager, the STSM Monogastrics will propose adapted and tailored solutions, combining Adisseo products and services and demonstrating value to identified customers. The STSM Monogastrics' mission is to understand the decision-making process within customer organizations to successfully develop Specialty product sales. The scope of this role covers DACH and Nordic countries. The main stakes of this position consist of: detecting and identifying the needs and expectations of the customers; proposing to customers suitable solutions constituted by one or a combination of Specialty products from Adisseo; ensuring the necessary follow-up of the nutritional projects to achieve objectives in terms of sales and qualitative targets; strong engagement to grow the market, keen on identifying new potential with a hunting mindset. The STSM Monogastrics should participate in helping and providing the necessary support to establish and maintain long-term business relationships with the new and current customers and especially with the Key accounts according to the strategy.
Deep knowledge of the Specialty products sales tools, technical and marketing information, market environment, including competition. Master the associated services of the Specialty products. Customer management: you will be responsible to several customers, and you will manage the sales process for all Adisseo (Specialty) products. Understand the decision-making process of the customers' organization. Presentation and promotion of the Specialty products to customers, prospects and any other players susceptible to be involved into the process decision. Manage and interpret customers' requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs. Collaborate closely with the team in the promotion of Adisseo products. Manage and train the Distributor/Agent sales forces and marketing teams and visit identified customers together. Monitor local technical trials following the Technical Adviser's instructions. Expand market awareness and generate demand in the determined area through visits to customers, end-users, influencers, key opinion leaders and to any other stakeholders identified as important to improve market penetration with the Specialty products (pull strategy). Record and manage all interactions with customers and prospects via the Adisseo CRM tool. Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. Participate in the definition of the priorities in terms of Specialty products development in the assigned area, split by customers segmentations. Ensure the success of the new product launches in the area, planning actions and defining local tactics to achieve objectives. Report any information of interest for the rest of Adisseo and more precisely maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and do market intelligence on competitors pricing or marketing strategies.
Hard Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in the feed industry. Strong background in animal nutrition. Experience in sales or marketing. Strong knowledge of enzymes (NSPase and phytase) with proven experience (big plus). Ability to identify market opportunities / new potentials. Competent IT skills. Languages (minimum): German, English, Any Scandinavian language is a plus. Location: Home-office based in Germany (preferably Northern Germany), Denmark, Norway, or Sweden. Field presence: Minimum 50% of time visiting customers. Soft Skills: Autonomous / able to work independently. Smart listener — able to identify customers' needs and expectations. Strong communication skills. Persuasive and confident. Sales-driven mindset. Ability to build strong customer relationships. Opportunity-oriented thinking — identifying new market potential easily. Education: Animal Nutrition / DVM / Agricultural Studies.
