The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver and exceed Air Canada's revenue and market share targets for South Korea.

It's essential that the successful candidate possesses strategic and consultative sales expertise and experience with proven track of records, preferably in the airline industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and deliver incremental revenue and exceed fair market share in the agency and corporate channel.
  • Develop agency and corporate sales strategy and engagement plan represented in strategic account plans
  • Maximize selling strategy on the assigned accounts and build business relationships to gain long-term commitments to Air Canada.
  • Take best care of managed and non-managed accounts based in primary and secondary regions, involving developing and executing highly effective key account plans.
  • Generate new leisure, corporate and business sales leads and contacts, focusing on building new customers and growing revenue.
  • Responsible for implementation and adherence to groups policies and procedures.
  • Host business events, functions and regular engagement activities with the entire travel trade.
  • Launch NDC, increase NDC revenue and adoption, provide training and support to the travel trade.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across regions or departments to be aligned with Air Canada global sales strategy.
  • Perform any assigned regular or ad-hoc project and initiative as required.
  • Fulfill Salesforce application standard in capturing, tracking, resolving and monitoring daily activities.
  • Ensure Air Canada corporate policy and standard are upheld in all fare distribution, ticketing policies and local procedures.
  • Promote and contribute to a harmonious, cooperative and flexible work environment.

Qualifications

  • University degree in any discipline
  • Airlines sales experience (preferred)
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal and communication skills, commercial acumen
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • High level of autonomy and ability to collaborate with colleagues remotely and virtually
  • Willingness to work across different time zones and overseas business travel
  • Effective team player
  • Ability to look for Air Canada's commercial interests at a global sales level.
