CHS Animal Nutrition has an exciting opportunity in the Midwest region for an Expert Animal Nutrition Sales Consultant. In this role, you will promote the full range of animal nutrition products, solutions, and services to commercial cattle operations and key wholesale dealer accounts. We are looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused, and goal-driven sales professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities include: leading and executing territory strategy, partnering with internal and external business partners to achieve annual sales quota; proactively managing existing and new customer relationships; developing Payback Feed market share in the beef and the co-op dealer segment; effectively negotiating contracts; developing an optimal marketing plan; supporting the development of feeding programs; guiding best practices for sampling; delivering price quotes, credit terms, and leveraging promotions; upholding accurate records of sales activities; maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture.
Minimum qualifications required: High School diploma and/or GED, 7+ years of experience in sales and business development, valid driver's license, ability to travel with overnight stays. Additional qualifications preferred include a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science Business, Communications, Marketing, or in a related field; 7+ years of animal nutrition and/or beef cattle experience; experience developing marketing plans, calculating margins and profit; strong understanding of the beef and co-op dealer industry and economics; strong analytical and business acumen, proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; meeting pre-employment screening requirements.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
