Sr Sales And Service Route Driver

Safety-Kleen in Dolomite, AL is seeking a Sr Sales And Service Route Driver. This role will drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route. Fulfill duties of route driver when s/he is absent.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• Fulfill duties of route driver when s/he is absent
• Conduct End-of-day Check-In / Morning Check-Out process with drivers to ensure daily expectations are met and employees are prepared for the day
• Provide field coaching and sales training to route drivers
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
• Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Class B CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Leadership experience
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Commercial route driving experience
