Account Executive – Employee Benefits

This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. What You'll Do
Client Partnership & Service Excellence
- Manage a book of employee benefits clients and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client leadership
- Establish service schedules and oversee all client deliverables, including renewals, reporting, and open enrollment
- Conduct most open enrollment meetings for assigned clients
- Take ownership of escalated service issues related to eligibility, claims, billing, and policy matters
Operational & Compliance Excellence
- Manage implementation of new clients, including BOR submissions and carrier coordination
- Oversee preparation of renewal recaps, quarterly reviews, RFPs, and renewal strategy presentations
- Coordinate with Account Administrators to ensure accuracy and integrity of data in agency management systems
- Release RFPs, manage carrier follow-up, and respond to carrier requests
- Organize and analyze carrier quotes and prepare final rate confirmation materials
- Manage carrier installation and termination processes
- Prepare and distribute final SBCs, rates, and compensation confirmations
- Support special projects such as eligibility audits, packet creation, and health fair coordination
Growth & Retention
- Partner with Producers to retain and grow client relationships
- Maintain strong client engagement through proactive communication and reliable execution
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and strengthen long-term client partnerships
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Experience supporting or managing employee benefits clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
Preferred
- Experience leading open enrollment meetings
- Familiarity with agency management systems
- Employee benefits insurance licensure

Additional Information
Compensation: Salary range: $80,000-$120,000 per year DOE Eligible for performance-based bonus: Yes
