Internal Sales Specialist

In Italy we are present with more than 700 people and 5 production sites. With our main local brands FIP, REDI, ASTORE, ISEA and LARETER, we make products for the building, infrastructure, industry, and agriculture sectors.

We offer a role as Internal Sales Specialist, who will report to the Domestic Sales Director Italy, and will be based in our site in Casella (GE). The candidate will be responsible of achieving the goal of the sales budget with additional targets on the price increase for the industry division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draw up, in close collaboration with the area managers, all requests for offers that come to us from the market.
  • Manage complex requests with the support of internal stakeholders (Technical department, Customer Service)
  • Reply to customers quickly, avoiding loss of time due to inefficient communication between departments.
  • Monitor offers (in CRM) and their outcomes.
  • Be aligned with Corporate Division in relation to the periodic meetings of the Industry segment.
  • Follow the activity with external visits.
  • Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting customers’ technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts from an internal sales perspective, collaborating with external sales.
  • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
  • Close new accounts by answering telephone and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
  • Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs.
  • Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
  • Maintain communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.

Required Competencies:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar commercial role.
  • Technical knowledge of similar products in the piping system and industrial sector and its applications.
  • Strong knowledge of the Italian market area and customers.
  • Ability to negotiate orders.
