Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales Responsibilities
- Own and grow assigned customer accounts by developing strategic relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue expansion.
- Utilize commercial systems and tools (e.g., CRM, Tableau, Key Account Plans) to effectively manage territory and support sales execution.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for management review.
- Analyze sales trends and market data to provide insights and make data-driven recommendations.
- Achieve assigned revenue goals and sales performance KPIs through disciplined pipeline and opportunity management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with customers to establish profitable, long-term partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Resolve escalated customer issues that cannot be addressed at the customer service level, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities in CRM.
Alkegel Sales Support
- Lead Management: Own and respond to inbound leads generated from trade shows, marketing campaigns, and web inquiries. Qualify prospects and coordinate with Alkegel sales for follow-up.
- Installation Scheduling: Manage customer and internal scheduling for Alkegel installations, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and clear communication.
- Sample Process Ownership: Coordinate and track Alkegel sample requests, shipments, and results. Proactively follow up with customers to ensure feedback is received and documented.
Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential new customers across Alkegen's target industries.
- Leverage online tools, industry directories, and prospecting techniques to find and qualify warm leads.
- Pass leads to Inside Sales reps in appropriate business units with relevant context and background.
- Track lead conversion outcomes and identify patterns for successful outreach.
CRM & Process Management
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all leads and interactions in CRM.
- Ensure seamless handoffs between marketing, Inside Sales, and Alkegel sales teams.
- Support reporting on lead pipeline, sample/test status, and scheduling activities.
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and trainings to stay current on products, strategy, and team objectives.
- Share insights and feedback from lead interactions to support broader marketing and sales efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, engineering/business/marketing.
- 2 - 4 years sales/sales support experience.
- Exceptional communications skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
- Highly motivated and positive attitude with strong customer focus.
- Adept computer skills, including proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excel in skill of negotiation, building relationships, and product/market knowledge.
- Reliable, trustworthy and detail oriented with good decision-making skills.
Salary Range: $68-$70k annually
