Acquire in-depth knowledge of all Heating System product offerings, current markets, value propositions and competitors
Identify trend setting ideas relating to Heating System core competence by researching specific industries, events, publications and announcements
Screen potential development ideas by analyzing market attractiveness, potential, risks, competitor analysis and potential investment requirements
Communicate potential ideas to various levels of the organization
Develop & lead the execution of market plans to capitalize on new business opportunities i.e Gas to Electric conversions
Ensure efficient/effective marketing, advertising & promotional planning for new business opportunities in conjunction with Heating Systems Marketing Department
Investigate and Focus on new applications in which KANTHAL manufactured Products can be used, implemented and developed – Application Development
Establish and manage business development and business partner management activities
Meet business targets that are set during the Sales development of the business plans
Work closely with both internal and external parties to execute pre-agreed strategies built around developing new business growth
Open business development dialogs with new strategic business Associates
Responsible for product and application development process
Responsible for pricing strategy for new product segments
Responsible for input data and analysis of critical business information regarding competitors and market trends
Support the sales training for new application development initiatives
Responsible for sales tools i.e. VBS tools and marketing material for New and current products in portfolio
Responsible for presentation materials for internal and external discussions
