Role Summary
This outside truck sales opportunity is focused on helping prospective and existing truck customers make both new and used commercial truck purchases.
Truck Sales Job Description
- Call on trucking customers on a regular basis.
- Present the vast number of value-added services and products Allstate Peterbilt offers.
- Maintain knowledge of the trucking industry and Peterbilt trucks.
- Work with sales customers calling or visiting the dealership on assigned days.
- Manage truck sales details such as specifications, scheduling, sales orders, pricing, etc.
- Complete ongoing training.
Territory Sales Representative Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong work ethic with excellent self-discipline and time management skills.
- Outgoing personality and desire to meet new people.
- Reasonable mechanical knowledge with the ability to learn quickly.
- Knowledge of trucks and trucking is a benefit.
- Customer relations experience within the Trucking Industry or a related industry.
- Exceptional Customer Service Orientation.
- A desire for unlimited earning potential.
- A record of success in past positions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Some travel is required.
- Commercial driver's license or ability to obtain one preferred.
