Sales & Account Executive Inside Sales - Portugal

As a Sales & Account Executive Inside Sales - Portugal, you will support Amadeus' commercial growth in Portugal by identifying opportunities, strengthening customer relationships remotely, and driving new acquisitions in a highly competitive and dynamic environment.

The role is based in our Madrid office, working daily alongside the Spanish Inside Sales team and collaborating closely with multiple headquarters teams (Commercial teams, Product, Marketing, Delivery, Operations and others) to leverage the full Amadeus ecosystem.

While primarily virtual, the position requires travel to Portugal every now and then for key customer meetings, conventions, and trade shows events.

This role is ideal for someone autonomous, confident in digital sales environments, and motivated to represent Amadeus' technology to Portuguese travel agencies in the SME segment.

Common Accountabilities

  • Work with autonomy and ownership, influencing decisions in the Portugal Inside Sales division.
  • Analyze information from multiple sources to propose improvements and recommend new sales approaches tailored to the Portuguese reality.
  • Operate with moderate guidance while continuously developing stronger expertise in your specialization.
  • Understanding of Amadeus business model and/or solutions is a PLUS.

Specific Accountabilities – Focus on the Portugal Market

Sales Planning & Market Focus

  • Contribute to annual ACV targets for Portugal.
  • Identify priority agencies and growth opportunities using Salesforce and analytical tools.
  • Understand the Portuguese agency landscape (independent agencies, regional groups, competitors).

Product Promotion

  • Present and promote Amadeus solutions in Portuguese via virtual sessions or webinars.
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and webinar leads.

Needs Assessment & Proposal Support

  • Understand agency workflows and challenges, tailoring the Amadeus value proposition.
  • Prepare and present proposals; support onboarding steps using digital tools.

Negotiation & Deal Closure

  • Manage negotiation and deal advancement through digital channels.
  • Close opportunities in line with Amadeus commercial guidelines for Portugal.

Campaign & Lead Management

  • Execute Portugal-focused sales campaigns.
  • Update CRM records with accurate activity and pipeline data.

Reporting & Market Insights

  • Provide regular updates to the Inside Sales Supervisor.
  • Share insights on trends, competitors, and market shifts.

KPIs & Pipeline Management

  • Achieve activity, pipeline, and ACV objectives.
  • Maintain healthy funnel velocity in a competitive market.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
  • Strong digital selling capabilities; comfortable working remotely with clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic analytics.
  • Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of the Portuguese travel market (or strong motivation to learn).
