Americas Delivery Management group is the entry point within the delivery organization towards the commercial team of the Americas Travel Sellers unit.
In this role you'll:
- Coordinate all delivery activities, leveraging all delivery expert resources in different delivery domains.
- Be accountable for all delivery activities, report and provide KPIs.
- Support the budget assessment set-up and execution within the delivery organization for the NORAM Travel Resellers unit.
- Support the definition of the service portfolio and strategy and ensure its implementation within the delivery organization.
- Act as the Delivery Services entry point for the Commercial and Product Marketing (PMM) groups for the region.
- Be accountable for all the deliveries to customers in the region of all services in the service catalogue (standard products, bespoke development, consulting and other services).
- Engage Delivery Domain resources, coordinate their activities and provide report-ing to ensure the delivery of Amadeus commitments.
- Manage the status of all deliverables, according to customer commitments and expectations. Communicate accordingly to customer, ensure their adherence to the plan and follow up on delivery dates.
- Create, manage and keep updated a dashboard for the region in order to provide accurate status of all deliverables, including risk & issues.
- Provide a regular executives summary covering the risk/issues that need management attention.
- Act as prime point of escalation for all ongoing delivery issues.
In the pre-sales activities:
- Proactively manage the ongoing pipeline.
- Analyze customer ecosystem and service requirement during complex pre-sales activities.
- Assess feasibility, requirements coverage, costs and timelines with Delivery Domains in case of complex solutions.
- In case of product gaps, revert to PMM teams to manage the roadmap impact.
- Provide the delivery plan to PMM in case of complex solutions (solution scope, costs and timelines).
About the ideal candidate:
- 7+ years' experience in the travel industry.
- Previous specific experience in Business Solution and/or Delivery management, with experience acting as a Project/Program Manager in the Travel industry.
- Familiarity with Amadeus products such As: Amadeus Sell Connect, Amadeus Dynamic Travel Document's, Amadeus Booking travel Feed, Amadeus Web services – Familiar with distribution and delivery products.
- Min of 7 yrs Previous specific experience in Business Solution and/or Delivery management, acting as a Project/Program Manager in the Travel industry.
- Advanced communication skills in both English and Spanish both written and verbal.
- Customer Facing experience required.
- Travel: Minimal, may require 1 trip per year to a customer site.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, GOT internal tools, and Win Approach.
