What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a high-performing sales manager who can lead from the front — taking live customer calls, navigating pricing and program qualifications, and supporting loan officers in delivering clean, fundable files. This role combines strong sales acumen with operational precision to ensure a seamless handoff to operations and maximize pull-through.

This is a remote opportunity to work from home

For a top rated lender, ranked top 5 on J.D. Power list for customer satisfaction in loan origination. The schedule is Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday - Thursday from 10am – 8pm EST.

What You'll Do:

  • Take ~15 live transfers per day, delivering confident 2nd voice support to help negotiate pricing exceptions, upfront fees, and close borrowers on the spot.
  • Remain actively engaged on the phones for a minimum of 8 hours per day, setting the standard for energy
  • Run AUS findings (DU/LPA) and guide the borrower into eligible loan programs, balancing qualification with the best possible terms.
  • Write clean, complete 1003 applications to minimize revisions and ensure an efficient handoff to the ops team.
  • Work and manage your welcome call pipeline, following up with borrowers until full application and document collection are complete.
  • Take full responsibility for any escalated review files that were welcome called by you — including correcting data, fixing structure, and communicating with ops as needed.
  • Troubleshoot system errors, help LOs with deal structuring, and provide support for exception approvals and product mismatches.
  • Serve as a resource and example for newer LOs, sharing insights and strategies that drive better conversion and cleaner files.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must meet all nationwide mortgage licensing system & registry (NMLS) requirements
  • Sales leadership experience with at least 3 years of consumer direct loan origination experience
  • Understanding of mortgage regulatory guidelines
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to quickly connect and establish a great rapport with people
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling competing priorities effectively
  • Self-motivated, driven, high-energy, and a positive attitude
  • Detail oriented and results driven
  • Proactive with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

Base salary of $50,000. Target annual compensation is $150,000-$200,000+
