The AVP Of Sales has responsibility for building distribution, creating relationships and driving submissions. The position requires complete knowledge of our product portfolio on a state-by-state basis. The AVP is the eyes and ears of senior management and the Amynta EOB team, keeping all well informed of the changing sales environment and what are competition is doing. In addition, the AVP will assist underwriting in selling the quotes provided to agents and retrieving information requested by underwriting. The AVP will make agency visits and attend relevant trade shows. The AVP will assist the VP and President in developing and producing marketing material.
Qualifications
Five years' proven track record building distribution, and sales experience for insurance company, insurance agency, MGA or Program Manager. 4-year college degree. Online research expertise. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Expertise in Word, Excel, Mail Chimp and other platforms used to design and produce marketing material.
Key Responsibilities
Use Connectandsell, (a calling and appointment vendor we use to build distribution), to build distribution. Use Internet searches to add agents to our database. Drive submissions achieving a goal of twenty monthly submissions. Follow up with agents, building relationships and assuring agents are qualified to sell our products. Follow up with agent for submission information requested by underwriting. Follow up released quotes to determine our position and help close. Provide competitor intelligence.
