You will support our market approach, analyzing promotional strategies and contributing to category growth through market insights, competitive intelligence, and strong partnerships to inform and support decision-making. - Conduct competitive pricing analysis to inform, optimize, and differentiate Apple's strategies for the Canadian market.
- Develop actionable insights from market data to identify strategic levers for sales growth.
- Develop, influence and implement the partner promotional strategy for Apple products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing return on investment.
- Collaborate with internal partners to optimize demand forecasts, manage inventory levels, and ensure product availability at partner locations, thereby enhancing the impact of promotional investments.
- Serve as a category expert, taking a leading role in category leadership and development for Apple's consumer products in the consumer channel.
- Develop comprehensive strategic plans and tactical initiatives focused on gaining market share including identifying and implementing strategic and tactical levers across the product lifecycle.
- Work seamlessly across various internal teams including Consumer Sales, Finance, Reseller Operations and Channel Retail to ensure alignment and cohesive implementation of business strategies.
- Lead comprehensive market analysis by lines of business, identifying emerging trends and opportunities.
- 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales strategy, category management or product management within the CPG, retail, or technology industries.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and translate insights into clear, actionable strategies and recommendations.
- Deep understanding of competitive landscapes, pricing strategies, promotional mechanics, and go-to-market execution within the Canadian consumer and retail market.
- Exceptional strategic capabilities, with a track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies that drive growth and market share.
- Strong financial acumen and experience collaborating with finance and supply chain teams to optimize business outcomes.
- Excel proficiency.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Highly collaborative with proven ability to build strong relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Tableau and other Business Intelligence tools preferred.
