Call Center Support
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Call Center Support for a company based in North Houston, TX, electronics company operating in casino gaming industry. Ownership is actively involved in all areas of the company, working primarily with managers and operations.
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Noncommissioned Annual bonus; SPIFs available
Schedule and Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Support Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
- High volume telephone and email contact with existing customers; no cold calls
- Understand customer needs, ask if need more of same or other, match with product, send quote, follow up, accept and process orders
- Escalation to sales department any difficult or special sale
- Escalation to customer service department any order issue or service request
- Escalation to tech department any technical need or question
- Gather any needed marketing information
- Enter notes into CRM and update customer information for each engagement
- Work from daily call schedule of assigned customers
- Support assigned sales representative with order entry or follow up
- Maintain a cheerful, professional attitude in calls and emails
Support Assistant Qualifications and Requirements:
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, Outlook; Teams is a plus)
- Experience with high volume call centers for sales orders and general support
- Experience reading prior customer notes and sales history, and factoring that into customer engagement
- Must have strong data entry skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear and friendly speaking voice.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience with high volume customer engagement of sales related communications
- Call center experience preferred but not required
- B2B customer engagement preferred but not required, no retail sales
- Support of technical products preferred but not required
- Enthusiastic and positive with excellent multitasking skills
