✨ About The Role
- Lead a team of sales professionals to drive business development and sales engagements with pioneering companies in the DER vertical
- Inform enterprise go-to-market and sales engagement strategy, providing expert input into market and customer prioritization, pricing strategy, and commercialization approach
- Drive active opportunities over the full lifecycle of sales engagement, from initial customer needs synthesis to negotiating commercial terms
- Establish and nurture relationships with executive sponsors across the industry, demonstrating thought leadership and understanding of evolving business needs in the decentralized energy economy
- Opportunity to take on more management responsibilities as the team grows, supporting the accelerating growth of the business over the next 12+ months

- Experienced sales leader with a background in DER sales, solutions consulting, or relevant startups, with at least 7+ years of experience
- Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with enterprise partners, negotiate commercial terms, and drive customer growth
- Strong understanding of market dynamics in the energy and sustainability space, with a focus on electrification, distributed energy resources, and decarbonization
- Ability to lead a sales team, manage forecasts, pipeline generation, and training, while showcasing active listening skills and empathy towards customer needs
