Regional Sales Team Lead (North)

For the expansion of our EMEA team, argenx is looking for a Regional Sales Team Lead (North).

Purpose Of The Function

The Regional Sales Team Lead is accountable for the stakeholder engagement success, maximizing the full potential of the region while maintaining and improving the overall health of the business and ensuring alignment with argenx values and local law and regulations.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the cross-functional market strategy, improves the national promotion strategy in accordance to regional market dynamics

  • Executes together with the team the agreed business plan to ensure expected product and business performance. Executes agreed local programs to capture specific market opportunities.

  • Coaches the KAM's to own, drive and develop territory and account plans, including customer targeting, in line with country strategy and in partnership with the local Medical Affairs team

  • Strong cross functional collaboration with the (leadership) team and ensure alignment between all field-based customer facing roles.

  • Seeks input from others, creates the platforms and processes to enable open discussion and interaction.

  • Advocates for a strengths-based development approach – supports the KAM's with identifying their strengths to bring out the best performance in them, supports personal development plans in line with the company needs.

  • Identifies and develops key national leaders in close collaboration with MSL's to ensure full support on argenx products and company image.

Education, Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of successful field experience in the biopharmaceuticals industry, at least partially within rare diseases

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in people management

  • Experience in Neurology is a plus

  • Experience in Training/ Coaching of a field team

  • Experience with medical networks and KOL development

  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.

  • Proven high performance track record of success in the healthcare industry

Other

  • 70-80% of travel required
