Für unsere Business Unit NetSec suchen wir zum frühestmöglichen Zeitpunkt am Standort in Wien oder Linz in Vollzeit eine/n:

Network/Security Engineer (m/w/d)

with fundated knowledge and interest in current and new technologies in the IT-network and security-area.

In this role you will support our trade partners in the expansion of their business with manufacturers such as HPE Juniper Networks and other leading manufacturers – with a focus on the Mid-Market.

Your tasks include:

• Support of medium-sized customers and resellers in Austria with solutions of our network and security partners.
• Training of new partners as well as the technical support of existing partnerships.
• Conducting of proof of concepts (PoCs) and installation support for end customers and partners.
• Building of laboratory and test environments in cooperation with the system engineering team.
• Participation in events, roadshows and product presentations.

You bring with:

• IT training (HTL / Fachhochschule / University) with relevant professional experience
• Funded knowledge in network technologies (switching, routing, wireless networks)
• Routine in the use of command line interfaces and scripts
• Practical experience with Windows and Linux systems as well as virtualization from a network technician's point of view.
• Existing knowledge of network systems of leading manufacturers (Cisco, HP, Arista, Huawei, etc.) is advantageous
• Basic IT-security know-how (e.g. UTM Firewalls)
• Independent, precise working style, high problem-solving competence and team skills,
• Very good German and English skills
• Willingness to travel (primarily within Austria)
• Convincing presentation skills and confident appearance
• Commitment, goal orientation and reliability
• Driver's license class B

Minimum salary: € 70,000 gross/year (overpayment possible depending on experience and qualification).
