We have an exciting career opportunity for a Sales Assistant in our Louisville, KY office. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills. Role is to assist lead agent with tasks and management of client assistance as well as to make sales. The position also requires a team mentality as the assistant agent will be working closely with a lead agent and other assisting agents.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Answering questions about benefits
  • Assisting a client with isolating and enrolling in coverage options
  • Entering information into a sales sheet
  • Assisting clients with obtaining insurance cards, filing claims, obtaining tax documentation
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Other duties as assigned.

About you:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Excel and other tools used to load data is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.
  • Insurance Industry awareness preferred.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work schedule, based on impact on business.
  • Ability to estimate amount of time required to complete a task.

Compensation and benefits:

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
