Well-established company in the food and beverage, consumer staples, and restaurant/hospitality industry is hiring for a Catering Sales Manager in San Francisco, CA! In this role, you will be responsible for building catering sales through the creation of new accounts and meeting company quarterly and yearly goals by developing a comprehensive strategy. This role involves accurate reporting and analysis of sales using established systems, presenting to large audiences, and engaging with existing and potential customers through various communication methods. The manager will adhere to company guidelines regarding pricing, menu items, and discounts, while also assisting with office administrative functions and special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new catering accounts and meet sales goals.
• Perform sales reporting and analysis promptly.
• Engage with customers using phone, email, and sales calls.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Act as a positive brand ambassador.
• Build relationships with the community and promote brand awareness.
• Ensure financial responsibility by meeting operating, labor, and food cost standards.
• Collaborate with General Managers and Catering Teams to meet catering goals.
• Ensure service excellence and respond to customer issues effectively.

Essential Skills:

• 3-5 years of food and beverage or restaurant sales experience.
• Experience selling catering to corporate companies such as Panera Bread, Mendocino Foods, etc.
• Experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous.
• Experience with Monkey Media.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English proficiency.
• Familiarity with the assigned territory.
• Multitasking abilities in a demanding environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous account management, catering, and customer service experience.
• Experience in project coordination.
• Reliable transportation for daily sales calls and client visits.
• Self-starter with a passion for catering.
• Must meet company Driver Qualifications/Criteria.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work environment in San Francisco, with some office presence required for onboarding and team development. The role involves 85% travel within the market for sales calls and client visits.

Job Type & Location:

This is a permanent position based out of San Francisco, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Our client offers a variety of benefits for its employees, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, vacation and sick leave, and a discount on bakery products.
