Director Of Sales & Strategic Partnerships
A global media organization known for its innovative editorial structure and commitment to transparent, multi-perspective journalism is seeking a Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships. This role is ideal for a seasoned business development leader with a consultative approach and a passion for building impactful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead partnership strategy and development aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct market and opportunity analysis to identify strategic fits.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, operations) to execute partnership initiatives.
- Support contract development and negotiation, ensuring favorable and compliant terms.
- Define and monitor KPIs to assess partnership performance and provide insights to leadership.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing partners while identifying new opportunities.
- Manage multiple complex, high-impact partnerships simultaneously.
- Represent the organization at industry events and forums to build relationships and enhance visibility.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong background in sales, business development, and digital marketing.
- Experience in journalism, media, digital publishing, or advertising.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Proven ability to conduct competitive analysis and meet sales goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of building and maintaining partnerships in licensing, sponsorships, affiliate programs, and joint ventures.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage market research.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
