Sales Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Order Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the fulfillment process of sales orders, ensuring accuracy in order entry, and maintaining effective communication with both customers and internal teams. You will play a crucial role in optimizing service levels and contributing to the seamless operation of our customer service and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process sales orders from customers, ensuring accurate entry into the SAP system and verification of amounts and terms.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to manage order information effectively.
  • Analyze customer requests and take appropriate actions to ensure timely and effective communication via phone and email.
  • Collaborate extensively with purchasing, sales, project management, and warehouse teams.
  • Handle complaints regarding noncompliance of spare parts, involving relevant areas of the company to resolve issues.
  • Monitor the performance of the Spare Parts function concerning volumes, service levels, and order processing time, identifying potential problems and proposing corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with both external customers and internal teams.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in customer service and logistics management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
  • Solid writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of OEM customer service experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and data entry.
  • Ability to perform routine clerical duties and miscellaneous job-related tasks as assigned.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled. The hours are from 7 am to 4 pm to coordinate with the team in Italy. The team consists of three other after-sales representatives. Our facility includes a large machining and assembly shop, along with engineering and parts/repair operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of North Chesterfield, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
