ADE - Bakersfield CA
This role supports a new local delivery program by recruiting small and medium-sized businesses to join a hub delivery partner network in and around Bakersfield, CA. You will work in the field, visiting prospective businesses, presenting the program, qualifying leads, and guiding them through the application process while maintaining an organized pipeline in Salesforce. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other contractors to drive sign-ups through door-to-door outreach, community partnerships, and recruitment events, with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission based on partner conversions.
Responsibilities
- Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance from Bakersfield to generate new leads.
- Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses in a clear and compelling way to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
- Qualify prospective businesses based on program requirements and guide them through the full application process.
- Track, organize, and manage all lead and applicant activity in Salesforce to maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learns and town hall-style meetings.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and increase program awareness.
- Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure data is captured, organized, and actionable.
- Communicate professionally with business owners and decision-makers, answering questions and addressing concerns about the program.
- Identify and solve problems for applicants in the field, helping them navigate any barriers to completing the application or launch process.
- Travel within a rural territory, managing your schedule and routes efficiently to maximize outreach and partner conversion.
- Work toward and exceed recruitment goals and performance targets, contributing directly to program growth and success.
Essential Skills
- 1–2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Proven outside or field sales experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for pitching, presenting, and follow-up.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate or influence customer decisions in a prior role.
- High level of professionalism and a strong sense of urgency in completing tasks and following up with prospects.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling applications, data entry, and Salesforce updates.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to support applicants and resolve issues in the field.
- Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to track leads and manage a pipeline.
- Ability to travel up to four hours round trip on a daily basis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is preferred.
- Additional field sales experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in roles involving sales negotiations or closing deals is a plus.
- Comfort working with Excel spreadsheets, including importing and organizing data.
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with others, including Field Managers, contractors, and community partners.
- Motivation to work in a performance-driven environment with uncapped commission and incentive opportunities.
Work Environment
This position is based in the Bakersfield, CA area and covers a primarily rural territory, so you should expect significant driving and travel time within an approximate two-hour radius. The role is field-based and requires frequent in-person visits to local businesses, community organizations, and event venues. You will work closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors while also operating independently for much of the day. The environment is fast-paced and target-driven, with uncapped commission and additional monthly incentives tied to performance and partner conversions. You will regularly use technology such as Salesforce and Excel to manage leads, track activity, and report results.

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.
