Sales Administrator (Entry-Level / Sales Career Path)
The Sales Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization by assisting with order processing, customer communication, and day-to-day sales operations. This position is ideal for an early-career professional or Entry-level who is motivated, highly organized, and eager to build a long-term career in sales and customer management.
This role offers hands-on exposure to customer interactions, sales processes, and internal operations, with the opportunity to develop into a more advanced sales or account-focused role over time for someone who demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and a strong sales mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, supporting sales activity, order questions, and basic technical inquiries
- Enter and maintain customer purchase orders in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantities, and order details
- Coordinate shipping logistics by confirming methods, sharing tracking information, and partnering with internal shipping teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Update order changes, shipping updates, and customer information in QuickBooks and related systems
- Monitor incoming online orders, RFQs, and inquiries from the online store and route them to the appropriate Sales Representatives
- Maintain accurate product, pricing, and service information within ERP and CRM systems
- Partner with the Production Manager to help ensure inventory and system accuracy
- Prepare, ship, and track customer samples
- Communicate quality-related updates or issues to customers in a professional and timely manner
- Take notes during sales meetings and assist with sales and marketing initiatives as needed

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Holliston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
