Sales Representative

Actively work to increase sales from existing customers and develop new business from qualified prospects in the market to ensure the achievement of growth and profitability goals. Maintain all client/prospective client sales activities in the funnel system and update during each phase of the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Continually reach out and contact existing or recently acquired clients in person, over the phone, or via email to maintain/establish relationships and generate ongoing sales.
• Assess client needs; provide professional solutions and develop/conduct sales presentations and/or product demonstrations to clients.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients, answering questions, working closely with clients to close sales.
• Act as project manager on client projects, coordinating and managing all aspects of the client project working with and through Interior Design, Sales Services, and the Operations teams to ensure all client needs/expectations of the project are satisfactorily met or exceeded.
• Answer questions, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and continuously communicate pertinent information including additions and changes throughout the project, working closely with clients and internal teams.
• Create high-quality quotes, bids, and proposals, accurately specifying products; collaborate with other areas on the team to complete including but not limited to Leadership, Designers, and Operations to ensure customer needs are appropriately addressed.
• Present proposals to clients, appropriately follow-up and follow-through with prospective clients, promptly respond to inquiries to successfully close deals.
• Effectively leverage sales promotions/incentives and sample literature to maximize sales.
• Provide regular progress updates/reports to leadership including forecast and pipeline reports along with other information as requested.

Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or related field with a minimum of two years' sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Office products/furniture sales experience and/or industry knowledge preferred.
• Self-starter - someone who takes initiative, is money motivated, confident, and tenacious.

Work Environment

Monday through Friday. The role is primarily onsite, with the expectation to be out in front of clients.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Waterloo, IA.
