Customer Service Representative
MUST HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE FOR A MANUFACTURING OR PRODUCTION COMPANY!
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, verifying all information before input, and communicating order status to the customer throughout the process.
- Place 'for Stock' orders as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate label design requirements with the Graphic Artist and the customer.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to support customers, ensure satisfaction, and assist in meeting team goals.
- Communicate regularly with the Production Control team and help set production priorities as required.
- Work with Finance and Sales to enforce credit holds and communicate expectations to customers.
- Partner with Marketing to gather customer information, run reports, and fulfill other requests.
- Field customer labeling complaints, raise label warranty claims, CAPAs, and Credit Notes when necessary.
- Understand and utilize inventory processes/stock matrices as guided by the Sales Support Manager.
- Process AR/ERs by entering contract-related data to accurately set up customer contracts.
- Occasionally travel for training or development purposes.
- Undertake projects and other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in order processing and order entry.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Capability in logistics and sales support.
- Two years of experience in a customer-oriented administrator or coordinator role.
- Five years of experience in customer service.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Background in manufacturing methods and process improvement programs.
- Experience with E1 and Salesforce.com.
- Ability to work independently and within a dynamic, global team.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and initiative to respond to changing projects and priorities while multitasking.
- Drive and passion to contribute meaningfully to company goals.
Work Environment
The work hours are typically from 7 AM to 4 PM. The role requires occasional travel for training or development purposes. The environment is dynamic and global, requiring flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
