Territory Sales Development Representative
This role focuses on recruiting local businesses to join a new hub delivery partner program in the region. You will spend most of your time in the field visiting prospective businesses, presenting the program, qualifying leads, and guiding interested partners through the application process. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to drive business sign-ups through door-to-door outreach, community events, and partnerships with local organizations. This position involves regular travel within a two-hour driving radius and offers the opportunity to earn commission for each partner successfully converted.
Responsibilities:
- Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance to promote the delivery partner program.
- Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses in a clear and compelling manner to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
- Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through each step of the application process.
- Lead and track sales activity in Salesforce, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date pipeline of prospects and applicants.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
- Partner with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and program awareness.
- Import and manage Excel spreadsheets in Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of potential business partners.
- Communicate professionally with prospective partners, answer questions, and resolve issues that may arise during the application and onboarding process.
- Demonstrate a high sense of urgency in following up with leads, scheduling visits, and moving businesses through the recruitment funnel.
- Use multiple systems and technologies efficiently while in the field to capture information, update records, and support applicants.
- Contribute to raising the bar for the delivery experience by recruiting high-quality partners in complex last-mile delivery scenarios.
Essential Skills:
- 1–2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Proven outside or field sales experience.
- CRM experience is required, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
- Strong account management and business development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to present and pitch products or programs to prospective customers.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip daily to visit prospective businesses.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track and manage leads and data.
- Ability to solve problems for applicants in the field and remove barriers during the application process.
- Comfort working with Excel and importing data into CRM systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a role involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.
- Previous field sales experience is considered an advantage.
- Professionalism and the ability to represent the program positively in the community.
- Enthusiasm for working with others and collaborating with a Field Manager and local contractors.
- High sense of urgency and strong follow-through on leads and commitments.
- Tech-savvy mindset with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools while on the road.

Work Environment:
This is a field-based role with frequent travel. You will spend 3–5 days per week on the road visiting businesses in targeted towns within roughly a two-hour driving distance, and work from home for the remainder of the time to complete follow-ups, data entry, and planning. The position is based near Fort Smith, Arkansas, and involves working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors. You will regularly use Salesforce, Excel, and other technology tools to manage leads and track progress. Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract position based out of Fort Smith, AR.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
