As a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for the Primary Care Team, you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives! Accountabilities include developing and demonstrating knowledge of clinical disease states and treatment guidelines, effectively communicating product information to healthcare professionals, executing call plans and brand strategy, adapting to the AZ Selling Model, analyzing data and trends to build business plans, building relationships with primary care healthcare professionals, leveraging multiple channels to drive meaningful customer interactions, and being open to guidance and insights for growth and development.
Essential skills and experience include a Bachelor's Degree, 0-2+ years of demonstrated sales or B2B or commercial experience, and a valid driver's license and safe driving record. Essential skills and capabilities include customer focus, business acumen, technical aptitude, adaptability, and collaborative skills. Desirable skills and experience include experience selling to general practitioners (GPs) and primary care centers and an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry and primary care operations.

Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
