- The role involves developing superior product and disease state knowledge to educate and engage healthcare professionals in dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles
- Responsibilities include driving sales performance to meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations, completing training requirements, and developing a local strategy and business plan to increase sales in the assigned territory
- The job requires working with Commercial Business Directors and District Sales Managers to implement Strategic Targeting Plans and capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities
- Special education to healthcare providers through appropriate programs within ethical guidelines is part of the job responsibilities
- Collaboration with other Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists to coordinate selling efforts is essential
âš¡ Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least two years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience or three years of sales experience in a scientific/clinical/healthcare environment
- Ideal candidate should have knowledge of the medical, healthcare, or pharmacy industry and experience calling on Respiratory Specialists such as Pulmonologists and Allergists
- Demonstrated effective leadership, organization, and communication skills are essential for this role
- Must be results-oriented with demonstrated time management skills and the ability to learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information
- Previous experience in respiratory sales is preferred
