Medical Sales Representative - Laurentides/Lanaudière

As a Medical Sales Representative - Laurentides/Lanaudière, you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives. The Representative has a responsibility to meet and exceed sales objectives in their assigned geography while in accordance with all applicable company and regulatory standards. The territory sales representative will work to understand and identify customer needs, aligning appropriate resources and all pull-through activities. You will acquire advanced product and disease state knowledge that allows for in-depth engagement with all health care professionals.
What You'll Do:
- You will build and implement your sales management plan to meet or exceed sales goals for your territory.
- You will promote our Primary Care portfolio and educate our valued customers to create positive outcomes for patients.
- Your communication style will easily disseminate product information to physicians, pharmacists and hospital influencers and you will uncover unmet needs, and we will develop solutions to meet those unmet needs.
- You will partner with the sales team, head office-based colleagues and key influencers within your District and Regional Business Unit.
- You will share field insights with your team and head office partners to improve how we work and accelerate our market position.
- Your previous experience will enable you to analyze, plan and implement activities to drive business success in your territory such as sales events, expense management and investments in continuous education projects.
- Your affinity for people will naturally build strong team affiliations and customers ensuring reciprocal working relationships.
- You will collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required; preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and have preferably completed your CPPE accreditation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited college or university.
- Proven and consistent track record of success in sales performance.
- Proven business acumen and analytical expertise.
- Demonstrated effective leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Experienced in launching new products.
- Strong technical skills, computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and digital meeting platforms including Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom etc.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
